Migration Agent in Perth
Indeedvisa is a registered migration agency based in South Perth, Western Australia. We act for individuals, families and WA businesses across skilled, employer sponsored, partner, student and DAMA visa matters — from the first eligibility check through to lodgement and decision.
Every file is handled in-house by Chandan Mehndiratta, a registered migration agent (MARN 1806082). We hold more than 220 Google reviews at an average rating of 5.0, and we publish our professional fees on this page rather than making you ask for them.
Where we are, and how we work with clients
Our office is at 68 South Terrace, South Perth WA 6151, just across the Swan River from the Perth CBD. Appointments are available in person, by phone or over video.
You do not need to be in Perth to work with us. Migration assistance is regulated federally, not by state, so a registered agent in Perth can act for you anywhere in Australia or offshore. In practice we act for clients across the Perth metropolitan area, in regional Western Australia — the Goldfields, Pilbara, Kimberley and South West — and for applicants still overseas.
Where we do differ from a generalist agency is the WA DAMA. Western Australia has five Designated Area Migration Agreements, and we act for employers under all of them. That is a narrow area of practice most Perth agents do not take on.
What a registered migration agent in Perth actually does
A registered migration agent is legally authorised to give immigration assistance in Australia. Only agents registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) may lawfully advise on or lodge a visa application for a fee. Indeedvisa is led by Chandan Mehndiratta, MARN 1806082, from our office in South Perth.
That registration is not a formality. Under the Migration Act 1958, giving immigration assistance for a fee without registration is a criminal offence. It also means your agent is bound by the Code of Conduct for registered migration agents, carries professional indemnity insurance, and is subject to a complaints process you can actually use.
How to check any Perth migration agent is registered
Search the agent’s name or MARN on the OMARA Register of Migration Agents. The register shows current registration status, any conditions, and disciplinary history. If an agent cannot give you a MARN, they cannot lawfully charge you for immigration assistance.
You can verify ours directly: MARN 1806082.
Our fees
Most Perth migration agents will not publish fees. We do, because the first thing anyone wants to know is what this costs, and a quote you have to ring for is not a quote.
The figures below are our professional fees. They do not include the Department of Home Affairs application charges, skills assessment fees, English test fees or medical costs, which are set by third parties and paid directly to them.
| Service | Professional fee |
|---|---|
| Initial consultation | Contact us |
| DAMA endorsement & labour agreement | A$1,650 |
| Nomination | A$2,200 |
| Visa application — main applicant | A$2,200 |
| Visa application — spouse | A$550 |
| Visa application — child under 18 | A$550 |
| Visa application — child 18 or over | A$990 |
Fees for other visa types vary with complexity. We quote in writing before any work starts, and the quote is fixed unless your circumstances change.

How we work
- Assessment. We look at your circumstances against the current criteria and tell you which pathways are genuinely open — including when the honest answer is that none are yet.
- Written quote and strategy. You get the recommended pathway, the realistic timeline, and a fixed fee in writing before anything begins.
- Preparation. We assemble the evidence, identify the weak points, and address them before lodgement rather than after a request for further information.
- Lodgement and management. We lodge, respond to departmental requests, and keep you updated on progress.
Why clients choose us
We are a small South Perth practice, not a call centre. You deal with the agent handling your file. We hold a 5.0 rating across more than 220 Google reviews, and we have taken on matters other agents declined — including tribunal appeals against refusals and a Schedule 3 waiver in a partner visa case.
We will also tell you when you do not need us. If your application is straightforward and you are capable of lodging it yourself, we would rather say so than take a fee for work you do not need.
Book a consultation
If you are weighing up your options, one conversation is usually enough to tell you whether a visa pathway is realistic and what it will cost. Contact us to arrange a consultation, or call +61 430 575 574.
Frequently asked questions
How do I check a migration agent in Perth is registered?
Search their name or MARN on the OMARA Register of Migration Agents. The register shows current registration status and any disciplinary history. If an agent will not give you a MARN, that is your answer. Ours is 1806082.
Do I have to be in Perth to use a Perth migration agent?
No. Migration assistance is regulated under Commonwealth law, so a registered agent can act for you anywhere in Australia or overseas. We work with clients across regional WA, interstate and offshore by phone and video.
What does a migration agent in Perth cost?
Our published professional fees are set out above. They are separate from the Department of Home Affairs application charges, which are set by government and change each July. We quote in writing before any work begins, and the quote is fixed unless your circumstances change.
What is the difference between a migration agent and an immigration lawyer?
Both can be registered to give immigration assistance. A lawyer can also represent you in court proceedings. For visa applications, nominations and sponsorships, a registered migration agent does the same work, and most matters never reach a court.
Can you help if my visa has already been refused?
Often, yes, but the review timeframes are short and strictly enforced. If you have received a refusal or a notice of intention to consider cancellation, contact us as soon as possible rather than waiting.
